Since 2016, a small team of volunteers have been working tirelessly with the council to ensure that this beautiful heritage building continues to serve the needs of local people with activities that benefit communities across Dewsbury. There are many areas the fundraising will need to cover, at the moment we are focussing on:
- Ongoing feasibility work to ensure the project is built on firm foundations, and identifies and addresses local need
- Refurbishing the initial space we will move into
- Purchasing equipment (eg: furniture, kitchen equipment, office equipment, etc)
We are now beginning the serious business of fundraising. Your support is vital in this next phase of the Community Asset Transfer. You are invited to make a donation that allows us to begin the transformation of Dewsbury Park Mansion into a wonderful community hub that serves Dewsbury and surrounding areas.
In 2019 we will be launching a platform that allows you to donate online. Until then we are able to accept cheques using the following details:
